A Toast to the Festive Season // Cranberry Mules

Is it just us or are people getting into the festive spirit earlier and earlier each year? It seems that everywhere you look, there are beautifully decorated Christmas trees covered in silver and gold poinsettias, threads of chunky festive ribbon and perfectly matched, gorgeous glass ornaments. Gone are the days where the ol’ family tree is splashed with kids’ DIYs from 1992! 

Roll on Summer, we say, and here’s hoping we have a similar silly season to last year (2021) here in Regional Victoria – late 20s, sun (almost) always shining and only the occasional day of rain (sorry NSW). It’s a bit late off the bat so far but there’s still time to turn it around VIC!

So while Summer’s still getting started, pull out the picnic blanket, get your Summer Christmas playlist sorted (cue Mariah) and have a go at our Christmas Cranberry Mules.

Recipe // The Voyage Home Cranberry Mule

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

60ml premium quality vodka
60ml Australian ginger beer
60ml cranberry juice
Juice of a lime + slices for serving
2T cranberries – fresh or frozen
Rosemary sprigs
Ice for serving

MIX IT UP

Add the vodka, ginger beer, cranberry juice and lime juice to a cocktail shaker. 
Shake thoroughly. 

SERVE

Fill a glass with ice and cranberries and pour over the mixture
Garnish with lime slices and a sprig of rosemary or whatever else tickles your festive fancy!

 

Now sit back, relax and enjoy a little bit of extra special gin-covered cheer.
